How to Log In to betPawa in Tanzania

betPawa Tanzania uses a registered mobile number and password for account access. The login form already includes Tanzania’s +255 country code, so users enter the remaining mobile number without the country code.

The same account can be used on the official site and in the betPawa mobile apps. Each account is linked to one specific telephone number.

Overview

betPawa accounts are uniquely associated with a telephone number, and only one account may be registered per customer. Creating another profile is therefore not the correct solution to a forgotten password.

How to Log In to betPawa Tanzania

1. Open betPawa Tanzania.
2. Select Log In.
3. Enter the mobile number registered to the account.
4. Do not type +255 again; it is already included beside the number field.
5. Enter the account password.
6. Select Log In.

The login form accepts the mobile number without the country code and requires a password of at least four characters.

Entering Your Mobile Number and Password

The mobile-number field already begins with:

+255

Only the remaining digits of the registered Tanzanian number are entered in the field.

For example, if the full international number is:

+255 712345678

enter:

712345678

The password field requires at least four characters. Use the password attached to the same phone number used when the account was created.

Logging In Through the Browser or App

The same betPawa account can be accessed through the Tanzania website, Android app or iPhone app.

A second account is not required when changing between the browser and mobile apps. The account remains associated with its registered telephone number.

betPawa Android App

The Android betPawa app supports Android 5.0 and later and has a download size of 1.85 MB.

After installation:

1. 1. Open the app.
   2. Enter the registered mobile number and password.
   3. Log in once to activate auto-login.

Auto-login allows subsequent app sessions to open without repeating the normal login process.

betPawa App for iPhone

betPawa has a native iPhone application in the Tanzania App Store.

The current iPhone app is published by pawaTech OU and has a listed size of 18.6 MB. The existing betPawa account is used after installation; a separate mobile account is not required.

Using “Keep me logged on this device”

The browser login form includes a “Keep me logged on this device” checkbox.

Enable it on a personal device when you want the browser session to remain signed in. Leave it unchecked on a shared device.

Forgot Your betPawa Password?

A forgotten password can be replaced using the phone number linked to the account and a verification code.

Requesting a Verification Code

1. Open the login page.
2. Select Forgot Password?.
3. Enter the account phone number if it is not already filled in.
4. Select Get verification code.
5. Enter the code received on the phone.

If the first code does not arrive, the recovery screen provides an option to resend it.

Setting a New Password

After entering the verification code:

1. Create the new password.
2. Confirm the new password.
3. Select Set New Password.
4. Return to login.
5. Enter the registered mobile number and new password.

There is no need to create another betPawa account during password recovery.

When betPawa Login Does Not Work

Start with the information actually required by the login form.

The betPawa login page requires JavaScript. It does not work correctly when JavaScript is disabled.

Verification Code Does Not Arrive

If a password-reset code does not arrive:

1. Confirm that the recovery request uses the registered phone number.
2. Select the option to resend the verification code.
3. Enter the newest code received.

If recovery still cannot be completed, betPawa Tanzania provides 24/7 customer support through Facebook Messenger and Telegram. A callback can also be requested; the support page gives an expected callback time of 0–5 minutes.

Logging In on Another Device

Signing in from another location can terminate an existing betPawa session.

When this happens, the earlier session displays a message explaining that it was logged out because the account was accessed from another location. Log in again on the device you want to use.

If the other login was not yours, change the password and contact Customer Support. Account access details must not be shared with another person.

Keeping Your betPawa Account Safe

The account password and verification codes should remain private.

• Use the registered phone number only with your own account.
• Do not share the password with another person.
• Do not share password-reset verification codes.
• Use persistent login only on a personal device.
• Log out after using a shared device.
• Change the password if another person may have obtained the login details.

betPawa’s account terms make the customer responsible for keeping account access details confidential and require compromised credentials to be reported to Customer Support.
